Notebook vendor, ASUS, has released a new tablet, the Eee Pad Transformer.

It operates on Android 3.0 and is designed to provide personal, seamless cloud computing experiences.

The Transformer has a full-size QWERTY keyboard docking station that offers two USB slots, a SD card reader and extended battery life up to 16 hours.

It also contains an IPS panel made from a resilient, scratch-resistant glass, dual cameras and supports Adobe Flash 10.2 video playback.

In addition, it is installed with Waveshare – a user interface devised by ASUS, which hosts a range of applications such as MyNet, MyLibrary and MyCloud.

The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is priced at RRP $599 for the 16GB Wi-Fi standalone device and RRP$799 for the 32GB Wi-Fi model with keyboard.

It is available in Australia from national retailers and resellers including: Scorptec, Computer Alliance, Leader, PLE, Austin Computer, Online Computer, Digital Star, MSY, CPL, CentreCom and Tasman PC.
