Hong Kong-based application service provider Netalone.com forged a deal on Sunday with consulting firm Kanbay that may let the Netalone take advantage of the burgeoning IT talent pool in India.
The companies are studying the establishment of a development centre in India, according to a Netalone statement. Kanbay set up its E-Solutions Centre for software development in Pune, India, in 1995.
Under a memorandum of understanding, Netalone will become Kanbay's preferred ASP and Kanbay will provide system integration and security services through Netalone, the statement said.
Together, the companies hope to build e-commerce solutions for customers throughout Asia, Netalone said.
US-based Kanbay, which already has international operations in Hong Kong, France, the UK, Australia, Singapore, and India, will gain access to the Chinese market through the partnership. Netalone has an e-commerce development centre in Guangzhou, China.
