CMD Solutions and Olikka have become the first two Australian partners to gain Amazon Web Service’s (AWS) latest competencies.

The new AWS end user computing (EUC) competency recognises the need to provision, protect and get intelligence from end-point devices, end-user apps, and data on AWS.

Sydney-based cloud and automation start-up CMD and Melbourne-based systems integrator Olikka now hold the titles as of its global launch on 7 August.

According to AWS, APN Consulting Partners with the AWS EUC competency offers strategy, professional services, managing infrastructure, repeatable intellectual property, and optimisation of end user computing technologies on AWS.

These solutions follow AWS best practices for building the most secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure for industry applications.

They are part of five named in Asia Pacific, one of whom also includes New Zealand’s Consgena, plus Serverworks in Japan and Blazeclan in India.

“Receiving the AWS End User Computing Competency really backs up the work we’ve been doing with our customers in this space of modern virtualised desktops,” CMD CEO Andre Morgan,

“It demonstrates that the innovative automation techniques we’ve developed and apply to our projects can be also be applied to EUC to provide rapid gains for our customers in efficiency and scalability.”
