Integration and analytics software vendor Tibco has launched a new partner program to help independent software vendors (ISVs) build solutions that complement its own products.
Known as the ISV Velocity Partner Program, the scheme will cover two tiers – Active and Elite – and offer non-production licenses for Tibco products in API management and analytics.
In addition, partners will gain access to technical resources, certifications, enablement, product support, marketing and assistance with launching jointly-created products, the vendor said.
“As a new program dedicated to enriching our partner ecosystem, this initiative helps drive further collaboration with existing and future TIBCO partners,” said Jean-Francois Roy, Tibco’s vice president for technology alliances and strategic operations.
“We’re committed to branching out from the industry standard to deliver a new experience to our customers, and see this as the perfect opportunity to solve any number of business challenges through teamwork and technological partnerships.”
The ISV program will sit under Tibco’s global Acceleration Partner Program, which was launched in August last year.
Under this, partners at Elite level can gain up-to 40 per cent margins for a “high level of commitment” to either vendor’s infrastructure or analytics practice. The active level meanwhile offers up to 30 per cent margin.
Within the program are a number of specialisms, ranging from sales, engineering and delivery.
Based in the US, Tibco has been privately owned by Vista Equity Partners since 2014 when the equity firm bought the company for $US4.3 billion.
In December, it announced plans to buy French data management company Orchestra Networks in an effort to boost its digital-business platform Connected Intelligence.
