Todd Osborne (New Relic)
US-based real-time software insights provider New Relic has increased its local presence by adding 40 people to its Sydney team, growing it from 50 to 90 people in total.
The growth experienced in the last year is expected to continue with more hires for the 2020 financial year.
Among the expansion are some key hires which include two former ServiceNow executives including Paul Butterworth who joins as the enterprise account director and Scott Miller who takes on the Queensland account director.
Miller is the first hire in Brisbane and will be responsible for driving New Relic's adoption across the region.
Former SAP commercial sales director Stewart Garrett has also joined New Relic as the vendor's commercial sales director.
Also joining the local operation is Juliet Fehr who is a director for professional services and customers success and former Oracle Dan Ingwell who has been appointed director for sales enablement.
The local growth was flagged in April 2018 by Todd Osborne, New Relic global vice president of alliances and channels.
“We’re looking forward to dramatically increasing our business in Australia and New Zealand with our partners,” Osborne told ARN at the time. “It’s already one of our highest growth regions and the team here has grown tremendously in the past 18 months. The Amazon cloud ecosystem is a huge part of our growth and we know we can accelerate our growth by leveraging the right partners.”
New Relic's monitoring solutions were among a combinations of other solutions and vendors used to help SBS broadcast the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
