Cubic Consulting has appointed former SAP head of education David Dekker as its new chief executive officer.
Based in Sydney, Dekker will be responsible for growing the firm’s IT transformation business using technology implementations and new applications for local enterprises.
Part of the FTS Group, Cubic Consulting is a provider of change and education services for SAP Australia.
Before joining SAP in Sydney, Dekker led the same market sector in the Netherlands, focusing on delivering training programs to SAP customers.
He was also previously a business consultant with several Dutch multinational firms, including Shell and Rabobank.

Founded in 2004, Cubic currently has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Wellington. The company was previously led by CEO Virginia Smith, who left in November last year to join Toll Group where she is organisational change practice manager.
As well as Cubic, FTS Group also has the businesses Anatas, TS Data & AI, Kobold, SME Gateway and Veritec under its umbrella.
Last year, FTS acquired Canberra-based IT services and software development firm, Connexxion in an effort to boost its presence in the Australian capital.
