Cloudera country manager A/NZ Nick Hoskins
Machine learning and analytics platform vendor Cloudera has appointed Nick Hoskins as country manager for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).
Hoskins will be responsible for driving the vendor's growth in the region as well as expanding its customer base. He will also be in charge of building and strengthening Cloudera's channel ecosystem.
Hoskins joins from Citrix where he worked for more than 12 years and was most recently a senior director for enterprise and corporate sales.
He also held the roles of director of corporate sales and director of field sales while at Citrix.
“I am thrilled to join Cloudera and lead the company’s expansion in ANZ," Hoskins said. "Having held numerous senior leadership positions in sales and partner development I can see many great opportunities for Cloudera to excel in the region."
Hoskins has more than 22 years of industry experience and his appointment is a result of the vendor's rapid expansion in the region.
“I am confident that my hands-on approach to coaching, performance management, and career development of my team members will enable us to build a strong core team to drive repeatable success with Cloudera’s machine learning and advanced analytics solutions," Hoskins added.
