Infront Systems has launched three new distinct solutions into market, as the systems integrator moves to address the changing demands of customers in a Cloud era.

Speaking to ARN on the eve of the company's 2016 Cloud Leaders Dinner in Sydney, Infront has launched Insight, Unity and Prime - designed to take on any hybrid Cloud challenge.

“Insight is our advisory services arm and has been developed over the last three to three and a half years,” Infront managing director, Allan King, said.

“It has enabled us to understand the traps, pitfalls and errors you can make when going to Cloud, and in doing so develop some intellectual property to help our customers not to make the same mistakes."

King - an ARN Hall of Fame inductee - said the Insight advisory team now works with customers to understand Cloud and aid the transition of-premises.

The second offering is dubbed Unity, and is a specialist business unit which focusses on the unification of on and off premises deployments.

“It is a hybrid Cloud reference architecture,” he explained. “We talk a lot about engineering for customer success because it is an integration challenge these days. It is not plugging in cables anymore, it is plugging in APIs

“In order to transition to a hybrid Cloud state without compromise, you must understand those integration elements, it is what we call architecture through to automation."

King said that determining which technologies were best suited to this business practice was not easy, but ultimately formed the foundation of the value proposition.

“For every one of the technologies we ultimately chose we probably jettisoned ten," he added.

The third offering is Infront's managed services practice named Prime, which is designed to augment existing capabilities within the business and to provide service, integration and management.

“One of the biggest challenges we think our customers are going to have when going to Cloud is dealing with the multi-sourcing environment," King added.

In referencing figures from research analysts, which project that most enterprises will have 20 services in Cloud by 2017, King said such predications would present challenges that these businesses were not able to address on their own.

“What Infront is offering is a core resolver group of support management technologies where a support group can escalate through Prime," he added. "We will then handle vendor management, SLA management so that we are the love in Cloud.

“If you go native to Cloud, there is no love there.”
