Big data specialist, MapR has launched a new partner program to respond to expansion momentum in the A/NZ region.
The Converge Partners program is made up of three tiers, Affiliate, Preferred and Elite.
MapR said the salient benefits of the program is enablement and strategic support with both marketing and sales alignment.
The Affiliate Level is for new partners with demonstrated industry expertise.
The Preferred Level is for partners with regional presence and provides value-add and solution sets.
The Elite Level is by invitation only and is represented by companies with significant global presence, a proven MapR track record and companies that impact and provide industry standards.
“The targeted nature of the MapR Converge Network partner program is designed to promote, build, and deliver the benefit of Converged Data Platform Solutions to customers leveraging the collective strength of consulting firms, software manufactures and technology vendors,” said MapR director business development of partners and alliances, Guy Baldwin.
“As industries and businesses adopt the MapR Converged Data Platform as a foundation for increasingly critical business processing and as a platform to close the loop between large datasets of historical information and streams of real-time information the support of a vibrant partner ecosystem becomes vital,” he added.
MapR Technologies vice president, worldwide alliances, Geneva Lake, added,“The industry recognizes that we provide a highly differentiated data platform and we have built up this worldwide alliance program to help our partners drive new revenue and accelerate big data deployments worldwide.”
According to the company, strong momentum in the past several months have continued in multiple regions with 100 per cent growth in both the Americas and EMEA, and 140 per cent growth in APAC.
