BlackBerry strengthens its enterprise partner program

For solutions providers to help businesses grow with security and mobility services

Secure mobile communications company, BlackBerry, has made changes to its enterprise partner program for solutions providers, where the company will support its partners with a range of skills and competencies in offering BlackBerry´s cross platform security and productivity solutions.

The new integrated and enhanced program gives solutions providers the best tools for driving growth, profit and value in their business.

By intensifying the partner program on several levels, BlackBerry said it will help partners build new capabilities around the multi-OS EMM platform from BlackBerry.

The BlackBerry enterprise partner program for solution providers is split into three distinct tiers – authorised, gold, and platinum.

Each tier provides different benefits based on a partner’s level of commitment. The more committed partners are, the more access to specialisation, competencies and tools are being made available from BlackBerry.

The renewed program will include an integrated and simplified pricing structure along with enhanced partner discounts through deal registration. Solution providers in the platinum tier will be recognised with priority ranking and notation in the BlackBerry Partner Locator.

BlackBerry vice-president of global channels, Richard McLeod, said with a significant amount of enterprise software revenue already flowing through channel partners, BlackBerry continues to invest strongly in the enterprise partner program for rapid growth.

BlackBerry also aims to collect feedback and input from its solution providers on various topics such as in market products, BlackBerry emerging technology roadmap and go-to-market approach, to create more sales opportunities for its partners.

“The renewed BlackBerry enterprise partner program for solutions providers will enable our partners to capture the consulting, professional services, and support and software lifecycle management opportunities created in the move to mobile business.

“BlackBerry aims to help partners growing their business by empowering them to increase their value and improve competitive differentiation by building and developing intellectual property and personalised value-added services around our comprehensive multi-OS EMM solution,” he said.
