Open source software solutions company, Red Hat, has opened a new office in Canberra to provide a central location for Red Hat associates throughout the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
The opening will be Red Hat’s fourth Australian office, with existing offices located in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Red Hat managing director A/NZ, Max McLaren, said the office was opened in response to "strong interest" from government organisations and private companies in the area across the company’s suite including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, JBoss Middleware, hybrid Cloud and storage solutions.
“Canberra has emerged as a strong growth area for Red Hat over the past few years, so it makes sense to formalise Red Hat’s presence in the area," he added.
"This will help us improve our service to existing customers in the local market and support future growth opportunities."
