Non-profit trade association, CompTIA, has added on to its portfolio a number of educational and training tools for the IT channel and industry.
The new offerings include several Quick Start e-learning courses and a series of on-demand Executive Certificate courses.
Several CompTIA Executive Certificate programs, previously only available in a live, classroom-based environment, will be offered as self-paced online curriculum.
CompTIA’s portfolio of on-demand executive training programs include: Executive certificate in Cloud intermediate, that addresses the "how-tos" of profitably integrating cloud-based services into a channel partners’ business; Executive certificate in IT security foundations, which assists channel partners in becoming a trusted IT security advisor; and Executive certificate in mobility foundations, which provides an overview of the various opportunities for managed services providers (MSPs) and IT solution providers to build their businesses around mobility.
CompTIA events and education senior vice-president, Kelly Ricker, said ongoing, advanced education and training are critical to a channel partner’s continued growth and success, and represent a high-value benefit of becoming a registered user or premier member of CompTIA.
“Our education and training offerings are comprehensive and current, developed with the guidance of the industry’s best business minds. Channel partners and others will up their games by choosing CompTIA for their education and training needs,” Ricker said.
CompTIA’s Executive Certificate programs are available to CompTIA premier members only.
The association also recently released a benchmarking tool, named Channel Standards, that consists of a free series of documents for IT companies to increase their business performance.
