Kellie Hackney has resigned from IT systems management company, Kaseya. Hackney told ARN she’s stepping down from her role as its Asia-Pacific and Japan sales director after working with the company for more than a year.

“Kaseya had an amazing 2015 and are in a strong market position as I move onto an exciting new challenge which I look forward to sharing more about in the near future,” she mentioned.

Kaseya marketing communications and alliances global vice-president, Taunia Kipp, said Kackney has been an asset for the company.

“We wish Kellie Hackney all the best in her new career opportunity and thank her for her contribution to our continued success in the Asia-Pacific region. Kaseya maintains a very strong position and commitment to the Asia-Pacific market and we look forward to continuing to demonstrate that commitment with activities such as our quarterly executive customer visits and our customer road shows across A/NZ."

In Kaseya, Hackney led a team across A/NZ, Asia and Japan to drive sales success in the MSP and corporate markets with its IT management and automation solutions. Leveraging this leadership position, she was also involved in increasing its channel engagement and growing its customer-base in the region.

Prior to Kaseya, Hackney had a short stint working as a consultant at Channel Dynamics.

Before that, she was in Citrix across a number of roles. Most recently, she held the position of Asia-Pacific channel leader (between July 2011 and July 2014).

She also served the company as its A/NZ channel leader for more than two years, as its A/NZ channel program manager for more than a year, and as its channel territory manager between July 2006 and January 2008.

The 2015 ARN Women in ICT shining star award recipient was also at Express Data as its IBM business manager between 2004 and 2006.

Hackney also sits on the board of CompTIA A/NZ as its vice-chair.

UPDATED: Hackney has joined data visualisation company, Tableau, and is the company's commercial sales manager.
