Velpic signs on new enterprise clients
Cloud-based video e-learning company, Velpic (ASX:VPC), has inked a number of new enterprise clients.
The company has added on cargo-handling machinery company, Cargotec; mining and civil contractor, NRW Holdings; and specialised electrical and instrumental services company, Southern Cross Electrical Engineering (SCEE), to its portfolio.
As per the agreements, Cargotec has signed to Velpic’s platform for its Victorian based operations, while NRW Holdings and SCEE will be using its eLearning platform.
Velpic will receive revenues from a subscription fee for providing access to its eLearning platform, professional service fees for implementation, and will receive pay per view fees for each lesson completed.
On a statement on the ASX, the company mentioned that the new deals represent continued growth of its presence across Australia following the recent expansion of its national sales team.
Velpic chief executive, Russell Francis, said the new clients come from across Australia and puts the company into a range of industry verticals including heavy industry, engineering, resources, hospitality, and retail.
“Following the appointment of business development managers across Australia, it is fantastic to see the company continuing to expand its footprint nationally, with new clients in New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia.
“Every new client provides further validation of the strength of our product, as we continue to position ourselves as the leading player in the leaning management systems market place,” Francis mentioned.
