As part of its launch into the Australian marketplace, Ireland-based storage encryption vendor, ClearCrypt, has partnered with Saratoga Distribution.
Saratoga Distribution owner, Ivar Stanelis, said the partnership will enable Australian businesses, professional and personal customers to protect their data with full industry standard hardware encryption.
“The new Australian Data Breach legislation along with the guidelines for protecting personally identifiable data mean that the marketplace needs new easy to use, fast and well priced solutions,” Stanelis said.
ClearCrypt’s Michael Conway said the partnership will bring a range of full hardware encrypted and high speed storage devices into the marketplace.
The 256 bit ClearCrypt range of storage devices include encrypted HDD, encrypted flash and encrypted MSATA.
“The growing amount of data stored on external drives to cater for the need to backup, store and transfer files, and large amounts of data means that storing data securely is increasingly essential,” he said.
