Network2Share launches new CloudFileSync for IT channel

Hunts for resellers to take its product to market, offering up to 300 per cent profit margin

Melbourne-based software start-up, Network2Share, is on the hunt for resellers as it launches its storage agnostic file sync and share product, CloudFileSync.

Network2Share has spent two a half years developing the product that stands to benefits Australian resellers with extremely high profit margins (between 60 to 300 per cent), no minimum sales targets, no cost for NFR licenses and no upfront fees.

The product is suited for managed service providers, VARs, and Cloud service providers.

“For a lot of companies that have developed a B2B product, the channel has always been an afterthought,” Network2Share CEO, Regan McKay, said. “The problem we discovered was that the margins were really low and the products were never really built from day-one for the IT guy, and it just wasn’t making money.

“We built a product for the IT community to sell to SME customers ranging from 10 to 500 users, which is the sweet spot that the product has been designed for.

The product itself can be held on-premise or within a hybrid Cloud envrionment.

“By doing this, customers can choose where their data is and its compliant,” he said.

For Australian resellers, the license fees are in Australian dollars and it also has a US billing system for other resellers outside of the country. The company is planning to release the software in 22 languages, McKay said.

“The channel is the only way we’re going to market with the product. It’s logical and a great way for us to expand our business,” he said.

Network2Share has developed a launch promotion for CloudFileSync where resellers who sign up can instantly earn a $500 wholesale credit to cover the cost of user and server licenses.

Resellers can install CloudFileSync on to a customer’s existing onsite storage to provide them with their own private Cloud that is secured behind their firewall.

They can also monetise their own Cloud storage, providing clients with a hosted Cloud solution that meets data sovereignty and other compliance requirements.

For resellers that don’t have their own storage, they’ll have access to a marketplace that allows them to purchase and sell, with margin, secure Cloud storage.
