Cyber-security solutions company, Fortinet, has enhanced its secure access architecture to meet the modern market's demand.
The new framework aims to expand Fortinet’s Internal Segmentation strategy and looks to enable organisations to segment devices and the access layers across wired and wireless networks.
“This new architecture – which is an extension of our other recently-announced SDN and SDDC offerings, gives them that security as well as a ‘single pane of glass’ management console for added transparency and control across the network,” said Fortinet senior director for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific Islands, Jon McGettigan.
Fortinet said the Secure Access Architecture provides a broad platform of integrated solutions that span from the client to the Cloud.
Fortinet founder, president and chief technology officer, Michael Xie, said, “as the probable first line of defense for an organisation’s infrastructure, the access layer hasn’t received the amount of attention it deserves in regards to cyber-security.”
“By leveraging our extensive portfolio of cutting-edge solutions and exceptional engineering capabilities, Fortinet is uniquely positioned to change that."
