ICT services provider, Datacom, has completed hand over of all ICT infrastructure and support services to the Department of Health as part of its $242 million support services contract.
The five-year deal, which Datacom scored in March, is centered on a fully managed consumption-based pricing model.
In Canberra, Datacom has a large dedicated team predominately located on site with the Department of Health. Service Desk services are provided out of its Queensland office.
Datacom ACT director, Lisa Thorburn, said the deal has enabled it to build a strong national team to deliver the complex and sizeable transition on time and to the Department’s expectations.
Datacom‘s portfolio of federal government clients now includes CrimTrac, Department of the Environment, Australian Taxation Office, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, the National Health and Medical Research Council and Airservices Australia.
