Bluechip Infotech has landed a partnership with Alcatel Lucent to take its fibre-based networking solutions to the Australian enterprise sector.
Bluechip enterprise director, Phil Lancaster, said the new partnership enhances its networking portfolio and extends its reach into enterprise partners.
Under the arrangement, Bluechip will have access to Alcatel’s fixed access network portfolio, including fibre-based passive optical LAN (POL).
Supporting public and private sector organisations, such as enterprises, governments, hospitals, hotels, real estate developers and universities, Alcatel-Lucent’s POL helps address evolving service demands, while delivering capacity and cost savings in areas such as cabling, network operations, floor space and power consumption.
Alcatel Lucent Oceania president and managing director, Sean O’Halloran, said Bluechip was a quality addition to its Australian market approach and will be working with them to build their networking portfolio.
