A10 Networks has appointed Sydney-based network security consultancy, AwareIT, as a reseller partner.
A10 networks managing director A/NZ, Greg Barnes, said the company selected AwareIT for its deep expertise in delivering cost-effective managed vulnerability services to the banking and finance sector, state and local government, and a broad spectrum of enterprise sites.
“The partnership augments our fast-expanding network of value-added channel partners and will help to advance our market position,” he said.
AwareIT was formed two years ago when a number of experienced IT professionals coalesced.
The company specialises in penetration testing of Web application, infrastructure (internal and external), wireless and social engineering environments.
AwareIT director, Peter Bremner, said his company did critical network testing for customers.
"A10’s application delivery controller [ADC] technology, with its SSL security, load-balancing and reporting, will give us a better way to operate," he said.
"Those functions are very important to our customers and A10’s technology dovetails with our expertise in helping to fix problems.
“IT security is moving fast, and what organisations want from their networks is changing so dynamically that we need to have the most effective solutions to stay ahead of the situation. A10 will help to keep us ahead.”
