Squiz has won a contract to develop a new website and member management system for the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA).
The new, integrated system will change how AIIA manages its operations by developing and maintaining an enhanced web presence, fuelled by social, mobile and data analytics capabilities, according to a statement.
AIIA chief executive, Suzanne Campbell, said AIIA was committed to leveraging smart digital technology to deliver exceptional member value.
"Investment in this significant technology upgrade reflects the increasing maturity of AIIA as the peak industry association representing Australia’s ICT sector and its commitment to exemplify the best use of ICT,” she said.
The new system will manage membership information, communication and engagement through the increased personalisation of services with an emphasis on proactive member care, networking and collaboration support.
The enterprise class solution will provide end-to-end professional services including user experience, search engine optimisation, research and analysis, creative design, a content management system (CMS) and Sugar CRM implementation.
It will also provide training and ongoing support services from its Australian based global production and support unit.
Campbell said Squiz’s offering was an innovative, industry-leading and cost-effective solution which would be built and supported in Australia, by a team of Australian specialists.
“We are confident the technology will facilitate significant engagement improvements for our members and will allow AIIA to stay at the cutting edge of technology both now and in the future,” she said.
