Specialist distributor DPSA has appointed Jon Vandenberg as Business Development Manager for the southern region, including Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
The appointment comes as the Australian data centre solution provider signs a new distributor agreement with Pelco, manufacturer of IP-based security surveillance, and launches a number of new products like the Zellabox micro data centre.
DPSA chief executive, Jacques Tesson said the appointment was a really positive move for the company at a time of growth.
“Jon brings an incredible wealth of knowledge in many areas of IT," he said.
"His focus is on growing DPSA’s business in the southern regions and he works closely with new and existing reseller partners and our vendor partners to deliver clients’ data centre infrastructure projects."
Tesson said the company had recently signed a new distributor agreement with its vendors, including Pelco.

"Another key part of Jon’s role will be educating resellers about the new offerings. He brings a wealth of sales and technical experience in the IT&T industry and strong client relationship-building skills. We’re excited about this new direction for our business.”
Vandenberg has been in the ICT industry for 30 years in roles which include engineering, technical support, pre-sales technical support, consulting and sales.
He has specialised in voice and data backbone networks and secure internet banking applications.
For the past 7 years, Jon has focused on data centre infrastructure, with an emphasis on measurement and modeling tools.
DPSA has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and works with reseller partners to deliver data centre architecture including power protection systems, racking, cooling, power and cable management, security and environmental management, and site monitoring products and services.
The company also works with resellers, consultants, architects, builders and trade contractors to ensure smooth implementation of its data centre infrastructure solutions.
