Print vendor, Fuji Xerox Australia, will use EMC’s Enterprise Content Management software in its Accounts Payable (AP) service.
Integrated with case management solution reseller, BRT’s APxCelerator accounts payable automation software, the solution will host a new outsourced service in the cloud – deployed throughout Fuji Xerox’s local document scanning centres.
The Fuji Xerox AP service administers all supplier documents through its scanning and processing centres and computerises the accounts payable procedure through a hosted workflow.
The new software solution aims to provide local Fuji Xerox customers with greater efficiencies across their AP functions, reduced cost and complexity of the operation and control and visibility of processes at every stage.
“Our AP SaaS will provide benefits to our customers, such as a swift implementation with no ongoing maintenance, processing cost savings, and no upfront investment in software and infrastructure,” Fuji Xerox Australia executive general manager of global services, Anthony Cogswell, said.
It also signifies an early deployment of EMC’s Documentum xCelerated Composition Platform (xCP) as a cloud-based local offering.
EMC A/NZ general manager of the Information Intelligence Group (IIG), Craig Williams, said the collaboration meets customers’ needs by integrating their environments without undue complexity and price.
“It is a vital step forward in delivering viable technical solutions for managing big data, as the exponential level of data growth is impeding businesses’ ability to effectively manage and process data,” he said.
