Sydney-based Software Alliance Group (SAG) has signed a distribution deal with SageMicropay for its SagePay payroll software.
Managing director, John North, said the distributor would now look to bring on more resellers with payroll services.
"For this particular product we are looking for smaller consultants," he said. "It would be good to have dealers in more remote locations rather than the traditional Sydney, Melbourne and Perth bases."
SAG would consider bundling the complementary products with its Sage Pastel Xpress business management software products.
"There is an intention to do a retail bundle and we would look at something similar for the IT channel further down the track," he said. "We don't seem to get many bundling sales through the channel because it is more of an add-on sale for a dealer."
SAG would run reseller and end-user training seminars in February and March. Partners would also be offered point-based incentives.
