Digital media specialist, Adimex, is bringing Noise Industries' creative tools to Australia under a new distribution agreement.
Noise produces visual effects tools for postproduction markets. Its FXFactory for Apple Final Cut Studio offers users plug-ins for Final Cut Pro and Apple Motion. Adimex channel manager, Eamon Drew, said Noise's products tied in with Adimex's strength in the content creation markets, and that its products were complementary.
It will carry the entire Noise range.
"Their range is a perfect value-add for the resellers who are selling Apple Final Cut Pro systems and solutions," Drew said.
The company contacted Noise after receiving dealer enquiries about its product range, he said.
Noise Industries representative, Niclas Bahn, said it had been selling its products direct to the public, and would continue to do so.
"Adimex will introduce our product line to resellers in the region, and educate them about the possibilities our products have to offer," he said. Noise will look for more distributors in the region.
"We usually attempt to have at least two distributors in every geographic region, simply because competition is usually a good thing," Bahn said. "We structure our relationships so that good performance is rewarded."
