Three Australian partners have become the latest to achieve Amazon Web Service (AWS) competencies across a range of disciplines.

Perth-based start-up KZN Group has become one of three new partners to achieve AWS DevOps Competency, joining global heavyweights including Splunk.

Founded in 2016, KZN Group offers managed services consultancy and products simultaneously across automation, DevOps and security.

Fellow Perth-founded company Mechanical Rock has joined KZN Group on the latest round of specialisations, becoming the only new partner to gain AWS’ Mobile Competency.

Focused on delivering high-performance apps, the competency is held by global partners such as Accenture and Tableau as well as local players such as ARQ Group.

Mechanical Rock was founded in 2014 and is an AWS advanced consulting partner and Google Cloud platform, partner and offers DevOps, code-driven infrastructure and development

Bringing up the new Australian additions is UltraServe, a Sydney-based managed service provider and advanced AWS consulting partner.

The company has become one of three partners to gain the AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency, making it just one of four globally, a list which includes also AC3.

The competency aims to improve infrastructure, storage, availability, analytic, and decision-making capabilities for end-users.

UltraServe was handpicked by AWS to take part in its Marketing and Commerce competency in 2015 and one year later opened a base in the US.

Last month, solutions provider DiUS became the first partner in Australia and New Zealand to obtain the global cloud provider’s machine learning competency.

That same month, CMD Solutions and Olikka also became the first two Australian partners to gain the vendor’s  new end user computing (EUC) competency
